Here are the contents of my mystery box. Not a fan of reds and pinks but all of these colors are pretty.
The polishes left to right: Molly, Rose, Niecy and Lynn.

Camilla lip gloss
The lip gloss was pretty nice. It was a little on the sticky side but I’ve worn sticker. This gives no color on the lip so it would work well for layering gloss to put over your lipstick.
When I ordered my mystery box I also purchased the Jane polish. I wish I would have waited since I got the code for the free nail polish. Oh well.
This is described as a rose gold but it looks more bronze to me.
Well, this is what I got in my mystery box. Can’t wait for the next one!
Urban Decay recently had a Friends and Family sale so I took that as a sign to pick up the Glinda palette. While $49 is not a bad price for all the things you get in this kit I just couldn’t justify the price to buy it. So this the f&f sale came at a great time.
This is not a big haul, as it’s only the Glinda palette and the Showboat Nail kit, but I thought you would like to see swatches from what I got.
The Showboat Nail Kit

This is two coats of the polish, I think it could have used three to make it completely opaque. The colors from left to right are radium, covet, perversion, fishnet, woodstock, and showboat.
The Glinda palette
As the picture shows the palette comes with six eyeshadow, two have two colors in the pot, 24/7 eye pencil and a Super-Saturated High Gloss.
Super-Saturated High Gloss in Glinda.
Glinda on my lips
This is really pretty gloss and really easy to apply. This is definitely a your lips but better color. The only thing I have to complain out is this does need to be sharpened.
Swatches (from left to right) Tornado, Aura, and Magic.
Swatches (from left to right) Illusion, Oz, and South
Swatch of 24/7 eye pencil in Rockstar.
It also comes with instructions on how to get Glinda’s look from the film.
Another thing I got in the box was a sample of the Naked Skin Beauty Balm. I love the Naked foundation so I’m interested in trying this. For what I’ve seen online this is a one shade fits all. This is a little too dark for me as I wear 1.0 in the Naked foundation but this does blend out pretty shear.

About a month ago I was invited to try the Glade Expression Collection with the fragrance mist and the oil diffuser. This is what the press material that I got says about the Glade Expressions Collection, “Inspired by art and designed to be left out on display, the Glade Expressions® Collection does double duty as home décor and a fragrance solution. With lightly layered fragrances to freshen your air, modern holders that complement your (already fabulous) decorating sense and the opportunity to refill scents at your convenience, you’d be silly not to invite Glade Expressions® products into your home before the next round of guests.”
Glade Expressions® Oil Diffuser in Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice
The oil diffuser was nice and I really liked the smell that I got. The scent reminds me of my favorite Bath and Bodyworks candle ‘Tis the Season. The scent is a warm apple cider.
The first day I got the diffuser the scent was really strong, in a good way that you would want a room scent to be. This lasted for about a week. After that you couldn’t really smell it anymore. I don’t know if this was because I got used to the scent or it isn’t strong enough fragrance to scent a whole living room.
I do like the case that the oil diffuser is in. It really makes it part of the decor and not just something to make the room smell good. This was proven when I asked my brother if he liked the scent of the new oil diffuser I got and he didn’t spot right away what I was talking about, so good job Glade!
Not sure I would purchase this again for my living room, though I would like to try it in a smaller room like a bathroom.
Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist in Cotton and Italian Mandarin
The fragrance mist was nice and my favorite out of the Expressions Collection. The scent I got is Cotton and Italian Mandarin and I love this smell! This is a clean fresh laundry scent, it also reminds me of the Juicy Couture perfume Couture La La.
The fragrance mist works like any other fragrance spray but the spray shots out instead of up so I feel there is better control over where you want to spray. The scent lasts a long time so this is perfect to spray over the house before guest come over. The only disappointment I have with the product is I don’t think that the container blends in with your decor. It looks like I took the label off of a plastic bottle. Other than that I really like this product and would repurchase.
Note: I received both of these products for free in exchanged for my review.
Items in my Birchbox
These are the items in my Birchbox, a description of the items and the prices. My box also included a piece of Godiva chocolate, but I ate it the day I got. By the way the chocolate was really good and would definitely buy more. This was the type I got.
My Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer
If I had oily skin this would have been perfect as the few places on my faces that can get oily stayed matte when I used this, but my skin is dry. So this isn’t something that I can use right now until my temperamental skin decides it now wants to be oily.
Curly Hair Solutions Tweek
This is a curl refreshers but I don’t think it was very effective. Spraying my hair with water has about the same effect. I think my type of curl is not one that does well with this type of product. I did like the smell. It reminded me of a pineapple candle, I know completely random association. So I guess it would be good for adding scent to your hair.
FushionBeauty Lash Fusion XL
As a mascara I think it’s only okay. I didn’t think it was very voluminzing. The description also says that this is a lash conditioner but I haven’t used it long enough to notice if my lashes are more conditioned.
Juicy Couture Couture La La perfume
Definitely my favorite thing in my box. This is a nice, fresh fragrance, it reminds me of a soap which is a good thing to me. Not a perfume fan as I’m allergic to most of them but this is one that I can wear and have worn everyday since I got my box. I will definitely be buying a full size of this.
Overall, not too impressed with the items in my box as I can’t use most of them. I do think it’s funny that the one product I thought I was going to hate, Couture La La perfume, turned out to be my favorite thing. Hopefully I’ll get a better box next month.
I just got my latest Ipsy bag yesterday and used all the items this morning so I could write a review of how I liked the item in this month’s bag. Overall, I like and will use everything in the bag. Well, on to my first impression and review.
MICABeauty gel liner in black
I really liked this liner! It went on really smooth and it transferred to the liner brush easily as well. I hate the gel liners that I feel that I have to dig the product out to get any color on the brush. Anyway, this gel liner reminded me of Clinique’s gel liner, which was my favorite brand when I was using gel liners. I would be interested in buying more colors but right now I’m obessed with liquid liner pens. According to MicaBeauty’s website there are five other colors.
Coastal Scents eyeshadow quad
Swatches of the Coastal Scents eyeshadow quad
This is a nice quad and luckily I got a quad with colors I usually wear. Another quad in the bags that I saw was a grey smoky quad. The colors swatched smoothly. The three shimmery colors felt really creamy and had great color payoff, the yellow color is matte and felt dry and looked chalky. Other than that color this was a good quad.
Pixi Flawless & Poreless face primer
This was a nice face primer. It feels more like a light weight face moisturizer than a normal face primer. Normal face primer to me are the ones with the silicon like the Smashbox ones. The primer is a light pink almost white color but it doesn’t show up on the skin when I put it on. I liked that this was odorless as I’m sensitive to perfumes. My skin has been dry so I was worried about this being oil-free primer. My skin did fine, didn’t notice any peeling, but I do feel that my skin was oilier than it usually is.
POP Beauty Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara
This is an okay mascara, nothing special. I like volumizing mascara and this doesn’t volumize.
Lash Card is a card to put on your eyes to protect your eye makeup from stray mascara. One side of the card is for a small arch and the other side is for a large arch. Pretty neat idea and it worked okay but I feel it slows me down when putting on my mascara.
Well, these are all the items that were in my Ipsy bag this month. Can’t wait for next month!
Really impressed with this razor! I have sensitive skin and after I shave my legs would itch like crazy. Needless to say I hated shaving and do it a little as possible. So I was a little anxious about trying this product. Once the razor is wet it becomes very slimey, it reminded me of stewed okra, but that is the moisture strips working and boy do they work. This razor didn’t make my legs itch after using it!! I couldn’t believe it as everything I’ve tried before still gave me itchy legs. I am so thankful that I was excepted for this campaign as this razor is amazing. It was nice that I could have smooth legs without the pain. It does claim to give a super close shave, which I guess it does but it terms of close shave I don’t its any better than other women razors.
This is the starter kit for the Schick Hydro Silk razor. It comes with the razor, a replacement blade, and a hook to hang the razor in your shower.
